I started making stuffed fabric knives in 2007.
It started out as a joke to a friend, but I enjoyed making them so much that I made even more!
This lead to creating a larger collection of stuffed fabric weaponry that I produced for a show, called "Weaponry" at a gallery in Harrisburg, PA (more photos here: www.tinyurl.com/95nsfmf) The goal of this show was to allow people to take the stuffed fabric weapons off the wall and play with them.
I love that these objects can inspire people of all ages to use their imaginations and play together in a fun and positive way.
Typically, I use fabrics found at flea markets, thrift stores, church craft sales, fabric outlets or donated to me by friends and family.
Also, I love to knit and I love letters.
Very soon, I'll offer custom-made knitted letters!
